Campus Communicator Web launch

Fair Commies, we are at last online.

The Campus Communicator launched its Web site earlier this evening, and it is accessible worldwide at www.freecraven.com. This site was, much like this Weblog, begun off-campus and operates independently of Craven Community College. It will host all content from the print edition of the Campus Communicator, archived .PDFs of past issues and links to the freecraven.com e-mail addresses that have been assigned to all Communicator staffers.

Check your Campus Cruiser e-mail accounts -- or just ask me -- for instructions on activating your new freecraven.com e-mail address. Mine is already up and running -- you can e-mail me at corey.friedman@freecraven.com or at editor@freecraven.com.

Please begin submitting stories and letters to the editor to news@freecraven.com, which will replace the college-sponsored e-mail account we hope to faze out in the next several months.

Take a look at this Web site and see what you think.

Excelsior,
Corey

Contributors

We have several contributors to this blog...which was created for Commie Staffers. Some write better than others it's true, but hey...it's an "EFFING" BLOG.

We also have some fairly intelligent jackass who prefers to remain anonymous. ...craven bastard.

Stop the personal attacks

To the person(s) responsible for the multiple personal attacks on this forum:

STOP.

I, and others, destest the way that you/you all cowardly strike at certain staff members...annonomously (yeah I spelled it wrong...blow me.)

I believe Corey has already had a comeback to most of the personal attacks...but this is mine...for those reagarding me.

As to me being a "Master Jack-off," I could respond with "Takes one to know one," or to quote Paul Reubens, "I know you are but what am I?" But I'm not going to sink to your level.

Regarding the comment that the staff is made up of "professional students"...

I am the only professional student, as far as longevity on campus, on the staff of the Communicator. Yeah, I've been here for six years, improving personal skills and bringing credit to myself and this very school.

Through the organization Phi Beta Lambda (PBL for short), I along with other members have brought home numerous state awards and last year brought home 2 national awards. Those that I have had a hand in include: 7th Place-Business Decision Making (with Crystal Adair and Annea Evans), 6th Place -Marketing, 2nd Place-Desktop Publishing (with Brian Davis). I also served as the 2003-2004 NCPBL State Historian and was selected as one of the Who's Who in NCPBL recipients.

Through the Forensic Society, I have had the oppurtunity to work on several independent shorts and television pilots, as well as writing and directing my own.

I have been on the Dean's List twice, and achieved numerous other awards which I won't mention because this is going on too much anyway.

So if you want to continue badmouthing the staff, you have an open invitation...to BLOW ME.
